Rated 3 out of 5 by LM74 Premium Twin Tower View
Just check in to Premium Twin Tower View room (2715) and surprise... I can't see any Twin Tower from my room...
I called to front desk and they only said sorry because of new construction we can't see twin tower any more...
Why Westin Kuala Lumpur still sell this kind of room? specially with higher price...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Absolute Central Location!
Located right in the heart of downtown, the Westin Kuala Lumpur is well positioned for visitors to the city. Not only is the hotel itself quite attractive, it's positioned right across from the Pavilion Mall, which hosts an impressive number of high and medium-end shops.
I arrived the weekend before the Chinese New Year, and found the street outside decked out with lanterns and lights - quite an arrival!
The standard Westin gym at this location boasts a significant number of machines for cardio and weight, although I've never used one of those devices that track my workouts on such machines. There is a service desk right in the gym, unlike others that can be self-serve, to provide you anything you need. It also provides a nice view of the street and mall.
Further down from the gym is the pool deck - located a few floors up above the ground, a good size pool is available for cooling off, as well as chairs for relaxing or suntanning. My only complaint was that there was a limited number of them, and it was sometimes hard to obtain one in a sunny location. There is also a sheltered area for relaxing under… a nice touch for those that want some fresh air, but not sun!
For shopping, the Pavilion mall across the street is very convenient, as well as Bukit Bintang and Sungai Wang just a few blocks away for those looking for some deals… although you may become lost in it!
Great service and staff, and the first time I've received a container of cookies upon checking in as a Gold SPG member!

Rated 3 out of 5 by ecutech Rooms are not clean... Not Starwood Category 4 Standards
The Good :-
Hotel is nicely located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Staff service was good with attention to details even when it was pretty busy on New Year's Eve. Club lounge was fantastic and new.
The Bad :-
Room was not clean. Had a layer of dust everywhere. My 5 year old son found worn baby socks, tissue and straws under the bed and lounging chair in the room while looking for his toys. These areas weren't clean at all during house keeping. Lucky the toilet was O.K.
Overall stay was only OK, I am a platinum member and frequently stay in South East Asia Starwood Chain of hotels, This hotel being in my home country is a real let down. Could be the high occupancy rate since I wasn't upgraded to a higher end room. But cleanliness should be top priority.

Rated 5 out of 5 by awesome Great breakfast experience
I thought this hotel is about location, location, location (as it is within the golden triangle of KL), I also realized that The Living Room offered a good breakfast experience. My family and I had truly great moment at the hotel for our breakfast. The buffet spread was awesome and the staffs were generally very friendly, even the chefs behind the counter serving cold dishes.
Some rooms' toilet was a bit too small and the water tap pressure was simply too strong (and it would splash every time I turned in the tap).
Otherwise, there is no major complaints about this hotel and as I said earlier, this is one hotel that offers great location near to Starhill and the Pavillion.

We just returned from a short holiday in Kuala Lumpur and I have to say that our stay at The Westin made all the difference. Very helpful and friendly staff, great room, amazing food and superb facilities. Definitely our favorite hotel in KL. A big thank you

Rated 2 out of 5 by KChong Not aging gracefully
Not my first visit to KL Westin and the reason I chose it this time was because of the location.
It was definitely not up to your usual high standards. The bathroom door was faulty and will not close properly, desk light will not stay up and kept falling over, stains in bathroom, air-conditioning was not working well; we were perspiring in the room.
Staff was relaxed. I struggled with my luggage on the stairs from the carpark lift and no one offered a hand. bell boys and staff congregated around the entrance chatting.
Maybe I am spoiled but i honestly expected more from Westin KL. As I said, I will still recommend this hotel with a BUT...

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ritesh Home in a foreign city
I visited Malaysia with my family and decided to stay at the Westin - both in Langkawi and KualaLumpur. I must say that I came away surprized with my experience - a first with the Westin anywhere in the world. I usually fly very frequently and usually stay in other hotel chains. But the Westin was really up there - especially in terms of location, staff friendliness and service. A small gesture like the front desk staff walking with us to the Executive floor to help us check in, was remarkable - something we would never expect in another hotel property. Thank you for a comfortable stay. I will ask for a Westin next time I travel, even for work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JJNG Good Hotel But Over Capacity
Overall the hotel is good, comfortable, clean, staff are nice and friendly. I had stay this hotel for few times. For the last stay I discover one problem, there is the lobby of the hotel are consider small, and recently the guest are over crowded. So, it make the whole lobby looks very busy. Also, the lifts cannot handle all guest during peak hours, and you have to wait and wait. This is very bad experiences for me. the crowd at the lobby make me uncomfortable as I really do not like the staying environment are very noisy and not exclusive. Other than the lobby situation, other services, facilities and so on for this hotel are very good.
